What a treat!

happier because of you!

Surprise card, you can find the tutorial at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ee/index.php/resources/tutorials/surprise_pop_up_card/

...

Hello ladies, so this is my treat to you... I hope you like it!
Today I combined two different challenges, I used a technique that I have never used before and also used the colors for this week SCS color challenge.
The colors for this week's challenge are Real Red, Regal Rose and So Saffron.

...

I have to confess that I found the color combination a little weird at first, but in the end worked well...
This was somewhat challenging, I like it! Now I want to make more to perfect it...
Was a lot of fun making it, I challenge you to make your own.

...

Was a hot day today, 110F!!! Ufa...Days like today you just want to stay inside all day...
So I went shopping in the late afternoon, went to get a bunch of more rhinestones for my projects, all kinds of colors, they are so pretty!!!
Its getting closer and closer for my vacation, can't wait to see you all!

Its late...again and I must go to bed!
Have a great day!

That easy...

Bugs and Kisses!

This is the today's card, as I said yesterday I wanted to use the same colors as Thomas page, and why not the same set??? I tried it and loved it!
Was super quick...so quick that I had to come up with something else to add on.
As today was still my weekend, (Thursdays and Fridays on this side of the world) and I did not had much time, I wanted to do a quick one, but this one was too quick, I had to step it up.

Step it up!

I have to say that was a little time consuming cutting up the worm, he just has way too many spikes...But makes it fun!

At last...

Cute as a bug!

Hello girls, at last I posted Thomas pictures... Was a little challenging as I do not own (don't ask...) any Stampin'Up! 12x12 scrapbook solid paper and I do not have any 8-1/2x11 scrapbooks, so I decided I would go with 8x8 and this is the results...
I guess I have to order some 12x12's

...
Who's there???
...

For those who do not know this is my almost 6 months old son, Thomas! Isn't he cute??? Is the cutest!!!

...

The page was put together pretty quick, I like to have journaling on my pages, so I would use this one with a supportive page with maybe one more picture and journaling. The colors I picked were inspired by Thomas shirt...I am seeing potential color combos in many things these days...
Maybe tomorrow I will try a card with the same color combo. I like it!

...

Today I did not have much time to play. Since its the weekend for us, my time was mostly spent with the family. Only after we came back from dinner and put the kids to bed I went to my room and put the page together. Its simple and cute! A quickie...

...

Translated to Stampin'Up! colors they are:
Not Quite Navy, Pumpkin Pie, Bashful Blue and Whisper White.
And as you see no major techniques were used.

...

Well ladies, its my bed time now...I hope you are all well and wish to all of you a good rest of the day!

I was playing around with color combinations yesterday and this is what I came up with, I hope you like it as much as I do! I had a couple of pictures I was using for inspiration from splitcoast and one of them had this color combination together with designer paper...since I do not have any DS paper that match this color combination I did my own. I love the Paisley and the Polka Dot BG, and the combination of both looks great!

...

There will be more tomorrow. Don't miss it!

...

I introduced Stampin'Up! to a group of Scrapbookers that I met recently.

They loved it, was a lot of fun!
They are a great group and I look forward to our weekly get together and more Stamping events in the future.
Well, its late at night here (again...) and I better get some sleep...

Have a good rest of the day!
